Zero Waste Event Toolkit
This toolkit is designed for anyone interested in hosting a Zero Waste event. Events have the potential to generate a lot of waste, though recently event organizers and vendors in Missoula have been making changes to help reduce event waste. Across the community, events are implementing measures–from minimizing single-use disposables to promoting reusables to providing the opportunity to recycle and compost–in an effort to move toward the City of Missoula’s ZERO by FIFTY goal to reduce 90% of solid waste by 2050. This toolkit is a compilation of resources and ideas specific to Missoula and can be used as a checklist or general guidebook. We hope you find this useful. Happy event planning!
